FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My clients should know that I will not be the lowest priced photographer they can find. I'm not the kind who shows up to your session, grabs a bunch of thoughtless shots, and sends you a CD in the mail or emails you a download a few days later. Instead, I will be the most attentive, thorough, and engaging photographer to work with. My sessions are well thought out and intentional. Each session includes a design consultation to discuss your vision and your goals for the portraits we'll make, a highly-personalized portrait session held in a location that means something to you, and an in-person image reveal after the session where I show you each and every image and can revel in your reactions! I create impactful portraiture for each of my clients, designed by us together.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically have a call with new clients so that we can get a quick feel for each other. If we feel well-matched, we'll set up in-person design consultation to determine hopes and desires for the portraits, discuss how the client would like to preserve and display them, decide on location, apparel choices, and style and mood of the images. The session is generally held around a week later. Following the session, I meet the client in their home or a local coffee shop to reveal the final images and go over best options for displaying the portraits in their home. Later, I hand-deliver the chosen printed images to my clients at their home or place of business.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified digital photographer and I have completed multiple courses in advanced photography, digital image processing (editing), posing, lighting and equipment.
