FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The rates listed in my profile are the set rates for lessons. As time goes on there may be additional expenses that include but are not limited to: books and resources, competitions, examinations, recitals, summer programs etc. As the teacher I will always discuss these in advance so that we can decide whether or not they are right for you and your student.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I teach out of the Keith Snell Piano Repertoire and Fundamentals of Music Theory method and library. From the very first lesson the student will be studying real classical music piano repertoire, technique exercises and theory concepts specifically catered to their level. Every lesson will be fun and exciting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an alumnus of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. My degree is in piano performance. I have been a student and performer for 20 years and have been teaching for the last six years.
