I have two locations I train out of, Boynton Beach single sessions rate is $50 with package options available to lower rates. Boca Raton single session rate is $70 with package options available to lower rates. TruFitness is about individualization of each client. I truly listen to understand your goals and history, to make a program perfect to get you to your goals as fast as possible. I have been"around" and I've experienced many different gyms and trainers so I believe I can give a respectable testimonial about my experience with James Tilley. Not only does he tailor my workouts for my personal needs, which can change weekly, James gives me an effective workout, always paying close attention to my performance so that I will not injure myself. He also explains the movements so I understand HOW I could injure myself and why it is so important to pay attention to technique. Not only have I improved aesthetically but I feel great! I feel younger and more energetic and I am 67 years old!! In addition to his superior abilities as a trainer, James brings to every session his upbeat, energetic, and always encouraging personality. All I can say after this is "I could not be happier with any other personal trainer!" Thank you James for all your hard work!!

After working with several different trainers and not attaining my goals, I finally met with James Tilley. It was his enthusiasm and spark that first attracted me. As I started training with him I have come to learn so much about the importance of form and putting in the necessary work outside of the gym, as well as during the training. He has educated me about nutrition and about how the body works and why it's important to pay attention to what, when and how I eat, as well as the importance of consistent workouts. I met James before I became pregnant with my newborn son and was able to continue my workouts which he modified for me and now I’m in pretty good postnatal condition! I do and will recommend him to anyone!

I started working out with James about two months ago, and I can already see and feel a huge difference from where I was to where I am now. He has been a great trainer, and I know when I go to workout I’m going to be pushed hard and get the absolute best workout possible. The workouts have been nothing short of intense, and I look forward to going in for each workout. He also makes sure to give advice, and keeps up with you out of the workout to help in making sure you’re eating right, and doing the right things to foster muscle growth. To anyone looking for a trainer who is going to work you hard, get you in shape, and help you with things to do outside of the gym to optimize results this is the trainer you’re looking for. As an aside he’s very personable and switches the workouts up so that you don’t fall into a set and stale routine every workout to keep you on your toes and make the workouts fun and interesting.

As a man in his 50's (who still mistakenly thinks he's 30), I have tried different programs and trainers in the past, to try to stay in respectable shape and to try to keep things vertical. I can tell you that James, of TruePerformance, delivers outstanding, visible results, efficiently and quickly. I started with sessions just once per week (1 hr long), and with only that, began to see results and watched my body change. James is a consummate professional, and it becomes clear from day-one, that he has a formal, 4-year University education in his field. James began by asking me questions. He listened very carefully to what I wanted to accomplish physically, and took great care explaining his philosophy to me and how we would proceed, making sure I was comfortable with what he proposed we do, and always taking extreme care to tell me why we were doing certain regimens. He always made absolutely certain that I first learned proper technique in whatever we were doing, commencing with weight and resistance levels that were very safe and could not injure me, making sure my technique and understanding were correct and practiced, before moving to more challenging levels. This is critically important for me, and for anyone at any age. James planned the workouts in advance, well thought out, with specific goals. We worked different muscle groups that naturally worked together (throughout my body), in a balanced way. In each session, we had goals, and he was careful to give me as much work as I was prepared to push myself to accomplish, improving my strength, conditioning, muscle tone, etc. Most importantly, he is constantly educating me throughout, telling me what we're doing, why we're doing it, and what effects each exercise will have. He has the plan recorded on his handheld and marks actual performance vs. planned performance, tracking progress each workout. He observes every movement carefully and IMMEDIATELY corrects technique if he sees me even slightly off, protecting me from any potential injury, and helping me to make proper technique a HABIT, thereby making each exercise most EFFECTIVE. James is very diligent and he also provides nutrition advice and is extremely positive in the way he teaches, giving great encouragement. Experiencing the outstanding results, I moved to twice per week (1 hr each session), and if I had the time, would move to three times per week. I'm feeling great, my wife and family see the dramatic difference in my appearance. Also, my overall body posture, as a result of the balanced, effective workouts, has improved dramatically. I stand straighter, appear taller, and the stooping I had around my upper back, shoulders, and neck is gone and my muscle tone is very good. James has done an absolutely incredible job with me and I highly recommend him, without reservation, even though it may make it harder for me to schedule my appointments with him, as his clientele grows. Since I began training with James and gotten the aforementioned results, my wife and son have both started working out with James, with similar results. Patrick W.

It's been a pleasure working with James. He's built a program that exactly fit my needs, concern for injuries, and fitness goals. It's challenging enough, but not impossible helping stay on track and going into the gym every day. He also educates as he trains by explaining the whys of things. Very enjoyable!
