Cheryl and her assistant Angie did such a beautiful job helping me organize a closet that was a total mess. They were kind and patient with me. I learned a lot about keeping my closet organized and how to prevent messiness in the future. I look forward to having them back to my home in the future.

Loved working with Cheryl and Cyndi! If you are looking for legit organization and a purge session, I highly recommend Organize in a Day. These 2 women arrived on time, worked efficiently (I last minute had a sick toddler home and they still made it work) and did an amazing job. My whole garage was purged and organized in one day. Cheryl even takes unwanted items and donates them. It was an amazing experience and can’t wait to have them back.

I worked with 2 different organizing services before contacting Cheryl of Organized In A Day. What both had in common was that they were very good at organizing the room I they worked on and eliminating the mess. But the only problem they solved was making the space look better. In both cases I had trouble finding things after they had gone, and I didn't feel any more in control of my accumulations than when we started. I knew I needed to find an alternative, and I wanted someone who would help me confront and get past my resistance to doing it by myself. Discovering and working with Cheryl was a huge breakthrough. She has a very unique combination of compassion and tremendous energy. She took the lead, but she consulted me at every step and talked through everything with me in a way that helped me push through my hopelessness and resistance. She also had a tremendous knack of looking at my spaces and seeing possibilities for them that I hadn't even considered. The very first day in just a few hours I was able to get rid of a huge volume of items that were taking a lot of space and serving little to no use. She also made it fun and was very in tune with my energy and good at suggesting a break or a shift in focus when I needed one. She definitely took the lead, which I wanted, but let me make decisions and was not bossy or pushy in any way. I truly marvel at her professionalism and ability to see creative ways of using space and making them look good as well. She made it all feel fun, and her talents for utilizing space inspired me to see solutions on my own. I had a wonderful dream after the first day we worked together in which I was driving a horse drawn carriage except there was no horse and I was moving the carriage skillfully on my own, turning corners neatly and creating speed and progress. It was exactly the way I felt working with her. We did two more sessions together and accomplished what felt like miracles to me. One of the best things she did was give me "homework assignments" of small manageable projects that I could do on my own in a short period of time after she left. She didn't want me to waste my money paying her for things I could easily do myself without her, and she was right. They were manageable chunks that I could focus on completely without getting distracted and overwhelmed by the other things that needed to be done, which is what would always happens to me. The habit of starting to focus on just one thing at a time without getting distracted was one of the best parts of working with her. I plan to continue with her till my entire home is exactly the way I want it. She is exactly what I needed. She's a total joy to work with, extremely professional and fun at the same time. There's a quality of depth and insight in the way she works with you - and she makes it enjoyable. If you want to be part of the process and become a better person as a result of doing it, I think she's the right person. She doesn't do chores, she creates solutions and helps you accomplish a tremendous amount in a short period of time. I can't recommend her services highly enough.

I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with a home organization while she was away. Cheryl and her professionals were so courteous and helpful.
