Introduction: Each person has a remarkable story to tell. I maintain this outlook throughout each therapy session and with each individual client. I would never tell you how you should live your life. That is your choice to make. However, I do offer a space of safety, encouragement, and support where you will learn about yourself in different ways. You are and always will be the expert in your own life. Your life has meaning, your life has value, and your life certainly has a purpose. I am here to help support you on that journey. In other words, I am simply here to help you turn the page and continue to write your story the way you believe it should be written.
My name is Dr. Lori Lundin-Fish. I am a licensed psychotherapist and specialize in the treatment of relational/marital issues, individual issues such as: anxiety, grief, and depression, as well as eating disorders. I work with individuals, couples, and families in Broward and Palm Beach County and my office is conveniently located in East Boca Raton, close to Mizner Park. My goal is to assist individuals in utilizing their existing internal resources and strengths while also learning the necessary skills to pursue and obtain desirable personal and relational goals.
I am a Boca Raton therapist and work with individuals, couples, and families in obtaining their desired goals and changes. I am trained in systemic theory and apply an evidence-based solution-oriented lens in therapy. I understand that although we do the best we can each day, life can certainly become overwhelming at times. As a licensed psychotherapist, I collaborate with my clients in an effort to lessen anxiety and stress when faced with difficult situations. Together, we can discover new solutions to the problems that continue to emerge in life.
Though problems are universal and unfortunately, unavoidable, I believe each client is unique and very different from one another. Therefore, each treatment plan will be tailored to specifically address each client's clinical needs, values, developmental stages, and personal objectives. I provide my clients with a safe and supportive environment where they feel comfortable in openly sharing their perspectives, hopes, aspirations, fears, and treatment goals. I strive to not only listen to my clients but to truly hear their messages and stories.
I believe this field is very rewarding as I watch my clients' progression and success. I enjoy helping people feel the very best that they can and love finding a sense of hope in what seems to be a hopeless situation.
