FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices vary based on the situation. Please contact me for a quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll ask students how they're feeling about the class, what they're learning, and if they have any homework or upcoming exams. Then we will go through some of the material they are struggling with. During the session I adjust what we're working on to find and fix weak spots and I design and ask specific questions to test their new skills and knowledge for confidence. By the end of the session I report to them and/or their parent what I feel they will likely need to do to meet their goals in the class.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. in Physics with minors in mathematics and computer science. I also taught physics as an adjunct lecturer at Boise State for three years and taught math and physics at a private International Baccalaureate (IB) school called Riverstone International. Most importantly I've tutored everything under the sun for the last EIGHT YEARS.
