FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge hourly or by the job. I have a pay as you go plan for certain situations. It is always cheaper if the customer supplies the materials (I can supply a list). I do discounts on multiple projects at or near the original work site.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the customer and get to know a bit about their situation and go over the details of the job. Next is to draw up a contract and set a start date. I like to have the customers input at the beginning of and the end of each phase. This eliminates any confusion or surprises. Of course, depending on the situation payments are due at the end of each phase. Some situations require a retainer. Some require a deposit, this is only if materials are needed to start a job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Many years on the job training but I also took Ag, Shop, and Building at trade school.
