Being out of town I needed someone to work on Mom's computer- she's in her mid 80's and having someone that she would be comfortable with coming to the house was a big concern.
Tom was great with her and quickly diagnosed the intermittent internet connection. He took the the machine away to do windows updates, installed a better anti-virus (free), and other overdue maintenance, all of which made sense. The machine was returned two days later working better than ever.
He also gave me options how to improve the network setup with no pressure whatsoever.
