Introduction: I have been a licensed massage therapist for over 12 years and have been trained in Europe as well as in the United States. With my expertise and experience, I tailor each massage to the client’s needs -- using deep tissue and other therapeutic modalities to target the best results possible. It is my passion to help each client to achieve the best results possible. My strength and my skills allow me to use deep tissue and other therapeutic modalities while simultaneously trying to find out the root cause of the problem and provide the client enough tools to work on the issue himself/herself.

I have fibromyalgia along with a host of on and off sports related injuries and have been under Marlen Caduff's care since 2009. Prior to learning of Marlen, I experimented with other local masseuses. Note, I didn't say massage therapists. Following my initial session with Marlen, I recognized the difference. She combines caring, empathy, deep knowledge of the body and one other thing to render healing and true therapy. Marlen's knowledge of the body transcends physiology. To understand however, it starts there. She has college degrees from Switzerland in nursing and body movement (no American equivalent degree). In addition to massage practices learned in Thailand, her Swiss and American certifications, Marlen specialized in Birth Preparation training in Switzerland. Combine this underlying foundation of knowledge with Marlen's ability to quickly learn and understand the energy circulation and pain threshold spots in her client's body and you'll begin to see why Marlen is exceptional. This exceptional talent and knowledge will push a person to the front of their profession. But I'm convinced what separates Marlen from leading therapists is a gift of both perception and intuition. Her ability to perceive through touch, what your body needs is pure unadulterated art. Because of the fibro, my body is ultra-sensitive. But there are times when it needs deeper massage work. I'm not consciously aware of this and if I was I wouldn't think deeper work would be appropriate. But Marlen knows. I've never felt pain when she's gone there. I'm trying my best to articulate this but in all reality this experience defies description. Marlen has another gift. As a spa owner, she has continuously surrounded herself with intelligent and caring professionals. Finally, aside from Marlen's talent, knowledge, gifts and entrepreneurial acumen, she is a kind-hearted, warm and friendly person. Her spirit is even better!

I highly recommend Marlen Caduff as a therapeutic massage therapist. She has studied a variety of massage techniques in Switzerland, the U.S., and Thailand. She owned her own business, Swiss Spirit Massage, in Tampa, FL, where I had regular massage with her over the course of 7 years. Marlen mainly gave me deep tissue massage, thai massage, and lymphatic massage. Specifically, Marlen has treated me for lymphedema which I got from breast cancer treatment almost ten years ago. She enabled me to minimize and control the swelling problem in my arm while allowing me to do various endurance and cardio sports that I loved. I participated in endurance walking for 4 years and dragon boat paddling/racing for another 4 years. Marlen kept my body in excellent shape and feeling good even while I was out walking up to 20 miles in a day or paddling 9 miles or so in a race. I'm in my late 50's now, and my body feels great. I've been able to fix issues immediately through massage with Marlen that would probably have become very problematic if left untended. Marlen definitely made me a believer as far as the healing effect of massage. Marlen is also a real professional and very organized and punctual. On top of that, she is a very kind, warm-hearted, open-minded person who really cares about her clients and their well-being. In addition to massage, Marlen also is very interested in cooking and nutrition, and I lost about 20 pounds by following a nutritional program she offered. I'm very grateful to have crossed paths with Marlen during her time in Tampa, and I have benefitted a lot from her knowledge and skill. Connie B. Retired Verizon Marketing Manager

Marlen Caduff has been a Godsend for me as a massage therapist. She will accommodate your difficulties and give you health advice as well. I have had a number of health problems that she has helped me with for several years. My wife and I consider her one of the most compassionate and competent health professionals that we know. However, more importantly is her expertise in her field of massage therapy and nutrition. I have had her help me with my back, knee, and neck pain due to cancer treatment. There were times when I couldn't get by without her treatments. She has even gone out of the way to help me get down and back from her studio on occasion. I owe her a lot. Thank you, Marlen!
