We worked with Lauren on some basic moves for our wedding first dance. The lesson we had with her made us much more comfortable and ready for the wedding!May 10, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Students with upcoming goals benefit from taking discounted lesson packages. Packages with discounted rates must be paid in full. We accept cash and check for forms of payment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Depending on the student's reason for learning how to dance (upcoming wedding, first dance, social dancing, want to compete, going on vacation, etc.) We always start with the basic step. No matter how elaborate the end product is, everything is built off of the basic steps. For someone wanting to learn how to social dance...the focus in the beginning will be learning basic steps, how to dance to music, and lead/follow techniques. For a couple learning a First Dance the first few basic steps are taught of the chosen dance and then choreography is learned based on the couple's song choice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Lauren Schelfhaudt (founder) I've studied and taught the Bronze, Silver, and Gold syllabi of Latin and Ballroom for over 15 years. My competition and show experience has helped me instill showmanship in students of any level.
