- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is in keeping with my experience and skill level for the Seattle market. I typically price the bridal makeup to include a trial appointment. Pricing includes the details that make for a flawless face and a truly quality experience: Free false lashes, free brow grooming, free lipcolor to keep for the event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically like to talk by phone (if we can't meet in person) to learn more about you and your wedding. It's really important that I connect with a client so I have an idea of your style and wedding location. Next I set a trial run appointment where I create your wedding look. It's a good idea to have a trial run so you love the look and minimizes surprises on the day of your wedding. At the trial appointment I can really get a sense of your style and use products that are right for your skin tone and skin type. Also learn about any allergies and sensitivities. I encourage new clients to read client testimonials on my website and on Yelp.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My experience spans 10+ years and I've trained with the best National Artists for beauty brands as well as ongoing education classes to keep up with new techniques and trends. Experience & Training LANCOME Business Manager, 4 years Daily skincare consultations and makeup application. Studied color theory, face-shape and contouring. I worked alongside the Lancome National Makeup Artistry Team. I booked weddings on the weekends and had the joy of doing the makeup for several friends' wedding parties. Generally had a blast! Made life long friends. CHANEL Business Manager, Macy's Redmond Town Center, 2 years I launched this brand in a new store- it was a formative experience with exposure to a deeply professional approach to luxury cosmetics. This is where I fell in love with intense pigments designed to last. There is a difference in quality! Extensive training in all facets of artistry and skin consultations. Foundations of Color-Matching and Applying Foundation basics. Extensive skin type diagnosis and training. Study of different eye-shapes and shading techniques. Worked alongside CHANEL National Makeup Artistry Team PRESCRIPTIVES, Nordstrom Bellevue Square, 1 year Custom blend foundations and powders. The most extensive range of skin tones in any 1 brand.
