MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE IS... - emotive - authentic - bold - a little posed - a little unposed - %30 editorial - %30 lifestyle - %30 fun - - I didn't fall in love with photography when I first picked up a camera... Actually, I fell in love with it much earlier. I had crawled into my parents attic out of boredom and plain natural curiosity. I started to revel in the musty books and magazines. I eventually found an album with yellowing pages; the images inside were muted, but their stories bright. I found photos of my father riding his horse into (yes, INTO,) a sorority house in college. I also found pictures of my mom in rollerblades as well as a crop top & short shorts, (so scandalous mom!!) on the strand in the early 70's. Since I have picked up the camera I fight to capture emotion and real moments, for future generations to find, dusty in an attic, just waiting to be remembered. - Some fun facts about me - 01. I've been to almost every state in the USA, over 6 times! (So has my boyfriend, and we've done it together twice!) 02. If I had to put down my camera permanently, I'd be a wedding planner! I thrive for organized chaos, and love the thrill that it gives me to be involved. Weddings are exactly that. 03. I'm an animal lover, through & through. Bring it on! Slimey, scaly, fuzzy, velvety, scary.. I love animals! My boyfriend thinks I'm crazy but I am dying to swim with Great White sharks! - Some of my helpful traits! - 01. I'm pretty much an anti-stress ball! Working in crazy stressful environments in the past has made it impossible for me to stress out. I pass that feeling onto my clients if they need it! 02. I'm extremely crafty! I've had to redecorate a brides arch and build her bouquet, and also photograph the wedding! I also can pretty much photograph at any location and find something to love! 03. If I have my camera in hand, bring on the crazy weather! Yes! Rain? Sleet? SNOW?! I want to be out there with my camera making magic. Who needs an umbrella?!
