    Eat with intention is amazing! Created a terrific experience.
    I hired Shadi for a cooking class with a large group as a team building event. It was an amazing experience! She did a fabulous job creating a creative menu for our team to cook, working around food allergy issues, and making it an interactive experience toward our team building goals. I highly recommend Shadi for any cooking experience and will be looking to hire her again for future needs.

    An evening to remember!
    I had Shadi come give us an Indian cooking class in my home to celebrate my sister and her husband's birthdays. She was a delight from our first contact until she left my kitchen spotless and all of us delighted with her instruction and the delicious food. It was an evening to remember and I can't wait to hire her again for a lesson in Vegan cooking. What a gift she is to anyone who meets her! Her passion for food is equal only to her beautiful heart.

    We hired Shadi for New Year's Eve and had her cook Asian fusion for 22 people. We had heavy eaters so we had her do a ton of apps during cocktail hr and then did family style for our main courses. We had people there with gluten and diary allergies and everyone was accommodated. The food was great and coming from Chicago where we reside, that's saying a lot as we are not easy to please. Everything was top notch quality and they cleaned before they left. I would recommend using Shadi. Side note: please remember to tip the staff, when I gave them cash at the end of the evening they looked very suprised as if most people don't tip. If you can afford a private chef you can afford to tip the staff which worked their tales off for us. They also made the evening. Best New Years in 10 years! Thanks Shadi!

    There is a difference between a work of art that moves you with emotion and tells a story without need of words, and an imitation of that same piece, where the strokes and colors have been mimmicked. I believe it to be the same with food. Food prepared with intention, and from ingredients cultivated with the purpose of nourishment from earth to body is a richer experience than that of a recipe simply reproduced. Shadi Ramey is an artist and storyteller through the food she creates. Her passion is conveyed through a lovely gastronomic experience, and there is depth and nourishment in her foods that I can only imagine is linked to her dedication of knowledge and an innate understanding of food as a beautiful and essential life force. My experiences with Ms.Ramey and Prasad have inspired this form of praise without exception.

    My wife, son, and I were on vacation in Denver and had the most amazing food prepared by Shadi. She came to the condo we were staying at and prepared everything. The curried tempeh chicken salad was the most amazing dish ever. Not only was the food awesome but Shadi is so cool and we learned so much from watching her prepare everything. You can't go wrong with having Shadi prepare meals for you. We will 100% use her again when we are back in Denver.

    I had the opportunity to have a delicious meal prepared by Prasad and thoroughly enjoyed the vegan lentil walnut loaf with shitake gravy, and a beautiful fall farm salad. The food was fresh and comforting; everything was so well prepared. I look forward to my next Prasad meal!

    Shadi is an amazing Chef! Most importantly her food is fantastic. But her presentation is gorgeous and she also knows how to handle different food sensitivities and she can cook many different enthicities!

    "Shadi and I worked together creating retreats and workshops over several years. She gives her full focus and attention to food selection and preparation, and her service is excellent. She prepared absolutely delicious menu items for three meals per day for our guests, and everyone was very satisfied and so complimentary. She also made sure that those with any food allergies or other issues were carefully consulted and provided excellent alternatives. She was able to create these delicious meals in the most primitive kitchens in many cases - cabins in the mountains, or in limited kitchen areas where workshops were held. She will work with you to carefully select your menu and provide you with the most delicious and delightful results. I highly recommend Prasad for any event. Laurie - Boulder, CO

    Shadi cooked for me during Panchakarma- Ayurvedic cleanse. It was the most delicious cleanse ever- her knowledge of spices and food as medicine made all the difference optimizing the cleanse and making a week's cleanse satisfying.

    We hired Prasad after meeting with several other chefs in the area for a private event for our most highly regarded clients (who also have very strict dietary needs but love delicious creative food). Prasad delivered all of that and more. The Chef was extremely respectful to our needs and delivered a memorable and absolutely delicious dinner! Made for a wonderful night that our clients still talk about!

I like to have a detailed chat about exactly what they are looking for either for their one time event or a weekly private chef gig. I want all of my customers to be 125% satisfied every time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught chef. I've been a chef on the Boulder area for 9 years. I have won awards for my recipes!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I just finished a project working on a cookbook for Shine Restaurant and Gathering Place. I was the recipe writer and recipe tester for the upcoming cookbook. This project took 5 months.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask a lot of questions. Make sure the people you are considering are licensed. Make sure they have great references. Make sure it feels good.
