- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically work with a cost plus pricing model (time and materials), as well as fully inclusive quotes. My rate is $35-$40 an hour depending on the style of work. I give discounts for larger projects.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The key is establishing an open avenue of communication and trust. We will get to know each other, give you the opportunity to get to know my working/ communication style. From there we openly discuss the project and all visions for success. From there I will outlay a plan with any potential pinch points so we are able to work through them before the work begins. During and after the project, I appreciate open dialogue to ensure the client is thrilled with the process and outcome.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education is in daily real world experience, as well as constant research on new best practices. I have taken a variety of courses on building science and remodeling trends. In addition, I executed two full tiny house builds under master craftsman.
