FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Therapy can be expensive, but I see it as a commitment to investing in your emotional and overall wellbeing. I try to make my services as affordable as possible. My full cost for a one-hour session is $100. If your financial situation does not allow for you to afford this cost, we can work together to discuss a sliding scale fee that feels appropriate for both of us. I do take some insurances including Aetna, Optum including United Behavioral Health, and Medicare.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the first session, I typically spend time with clients getting to know each other, discussing what brings them into therapy, and establishing goals for therapy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an undergraduate degree in psychology and a Masters in Social Work, both from Washington University in St. Louis. I also have my license as a clinical social worker.
