FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing format is typical of many fence contractors. The cost of the project is expressed as a "cost per foot". The Materials Fee is usually collected upon contract signing. The Contractors Fee represents the fee for service by Champion Fence. Our Contractors Fee is calculated to cover costs such as labor, fuel, administrative tasks. In some cases, there will be extra fees required for situations where the work will be more laborious, such as rocky soil, cutting concrete, custom designs, etc. The contractors fee is paid after work is complete.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Based on your needs, you can choose from two options: 1. You can send us a photo of a fence you would like to be built. 2. We can send you a personalized catalog of 3D fence designs our company can build for you. When you have settled on your fence design, we can begin quoting you a price. We will need a small bit of information to get started and we will try to have it complete in 24 hours. We are able to quote prices remotely, but sometimes this requires an employee to physically visit the work site to measure and survey. After you've received and if you've accepted the quote, you will receive contract which will outline the work to be done, the time period, and terms. Before signing, the materials fee will be paid before work can begin. We will also call to have your utility lines identified at this time. Our installers will then arrive on the worksite and commence work as agreed upon in the contract. When you are completely satisfied with your finished project, you will receive an invoice with the remaining Contractors fee minus any budget surplus from materials.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a bit of a handyman throughout my life. I have done a little bit of everything for friends and family while working with my father as an apprentice.
