I recorded my first album with Steve, earlier this year. Steve had no issues with my lack of recording experience, me wanting to use my own musicians, and he was completely professional during our sessions. I wound up in the studio for 5 full days and Steve's expertise was readily apparent. In addition to his engineering services, Steve also recognized areas in which I was having troubles or questions and he played the role of producer by making some helpful suggestions that wound up working out very well. Very pleasant guy to be around. Great studio to work in. Industry standard. No non-sense, just good sounds and solid recording techniques. Anybody looking for a result-producing, worth-the-money, professional studio in the Nashville area should contact Steve.

My session at Steve's went GREAT. We did a large choral session for a record I am cutting, and when I arrived a bit early, the studio was completely set up and ready to go. I had several of the singers tell me that they appreciated how quick and easy the session was because of Steve simply knowing what we needed, which is certainly not always the case with a large group of folks. I will DEFINITELY be recording at Sunset again in the future.
