WR moving helped with my 1bedroom apartment move into a POD.
Pros:
1. They were very courteous and pleasant to work with
2. They very responsive to direction and re-arrangement requests to make maximum use of space (I don’t think they had loaded a POD before).
3. They worked hard and consistently - no dawdling or trying to run out the clock
4. They didn’t try to nickel and dime me or charge extra for helping to remove the base stand from my TV or my floor to ceiling shelves from each other and the wall
5. We had negotiated a flat fee for up to three hours and they left it to my discretion to top off since the job took three and a half
Cons: will need close supervision
1. I wish they had been a bit more careful with my stuff (especially the assistant)
- While I was upstairs with one, the other stacked my shelves on top of each other downstairs on its narrowest side, such that the wind pushed over and threw one on top of the stack down, breaking it
- I found a dent in my expensive stainless steel bin the next morning from when they didn’t move it out of the way when carrying my couch
- They tried to brute force my 55in flat screen Sony TV into its box when it wasn’t properly aligned with the cutouts in the foam seats inside - I had to tell them to take the TV out and turn it around - and they were squeezing the TV’s screen during the process to the point that I’m worried about if it will be damaged when I open it up and turn it on
- They didn’t wrap my couch or the arm chair properly, even though I provided wrap. The chair literally looked like it had a belt on it not a wrap
2. For some reason, they didn’t show up with any doilies or moving carts, even though they had my list of items before hand, including 40 boxes. I don’t know what we would have done if my building hadn’t had a couple of hotel carts we could use.
All said, I would recommend them because they did listen and adjust when I stepped in and gave directions. But supervise closely.
