I wanted an in home physical trainer who would design a fitness plan for my needs. Carly has been ideal. She is prompt and varies the exercise routine. I feel as if I am making progress on my overall health.Jun 24, 2016Verified
Dane was great. He was extremely accommodating, personable, and knowledgeable, but also pushed for results.Jun 9, 2016Verified
Dr. Thorpe met me at my home to go over how he matches clients to trainers. I then scheduled with my trainer and have met with her twice so far. She's fantastic! I was given a yoga stability ball and the rest of the equipment I have at home (elliptical, free weights, a bench) and Ellen (my trainer) creates daily plans for me to do with them. She emails me any notes and whatnot and I'm thrilled!Jun 7, 2016Verified
When I first reached out on Thumbtack for a personal trainer, I was inundated with really aggressive, demanding offers pushing me to decide that moment. GHF was totally different. I received a thoughtful note asking about my goals, and my current health, and an offer to have an initial conversation with me to match me with the perfect trainer. The attention and respect I got was outstanding, and I couldn't be happier with my current trainer.May 12, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?NO Membership Fees, Registration Fees or Long Term Contracts! Private training is $120/hr. Bring a friend and save! Semi-private training is only $75/hour (per person). We also have 10 packs at a 5% discount. We have the option of billing every 3 months, at a 10% discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We are all about making sure that you have the right trainer to help you achieve your personal goals. In order to insure that we start with a free in home consultation where we discuss how we work with clients, what you want to achieve, what training methods you like, have worked in the past or what type of trainer you would like.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I trained as a medical doctor and therefore am capable of fielding questions that my clients may have about training. I also was a D1 varsity athlete (Men's Gymnastics) and understand what it takes to achieve and maintain a healthy/fit body. In addition, over the years I gained quite a bit of weight which I dropped by employing a personal trainer myself over the past several years....so I understand the challenges involved in weight loss and getting back into shape!
