Travis Shelton, owner of Patriot Stoneworks was a pleasure to do business with. His eagerness to give me a free estimate and to start the job the next day was impressive! He pressure washed my home, gutters, and sofit. He also took his time scraping off a build up on my brick mailboxes. He was doing such a great job, I asked him to pressure wash a retaining wall around my pool. Travis finished my job on the same day he started. His price was very reasonable and $200 cheaper than second quote I received from a Thumbtack response. I always get 3 bids & the third company that responded from Thumbtack never showed up to give estimate, he asked for pictures. Be sure to read helpful reviews that are posted on Thumbtack because the same person that didn't show up to give my estimate gave another person the same experience. This was the first time I used Thumbtack & I found it very helpful!

Come to job site with tools (ladders, cleaning agent, etc.) that would be necessary to clean mildew "stains" from the vinyl siding, especially when driving long distances with expectation of completing the job in one day; Discuss additional fuel charges upfront instead of adding to the "paid" receipt at the end; Report no-shows to scheduled appointments no later than next day; Keep all customer communications methods made available and use any necessary to reach customer when adjustments are needed in scheduled appointments. Do whatever necessary to clean the vinyl (as acclaimed in online reviews); if afforded the opportunity of a re-do at additional cost to the customer, a negligible amount would be indicated, since job completion to customer satisfaction first-time-around -- when at all possible -- should be paramount in business.

Found this group through google. It did not seem like they had done laminate floor work before and had made a dew mistakes. Such as leaving a gap between the flooring and the wall. This was overlooked and my husband had to tell them to redo almost all the wall touching areas because of this. They did redo and fix much of their mistakes which was great. However one thing that really bothered us was the fact that they had so much waste left over. About 50sq ft of board. This is not cheap board so that is frustrating. Lastly some of the boards are not joint all the way or pushed together tightly. With the errors, he did not offer us any discount from his price. so overall im a bit disappointed. we are thankful for the service, but it wasnt done how we hoped it to be.

You had 2 issues 1. To tight to walls- I went back and fixed 2. To much Waste 50ft on 400ft laid floor Average waste is 10% or 40ft of 400sq ft I apologize for the additional 10ft

Free Estimates, Will match and possibly beat quotes from other contractors.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to contact the Client via phone or email to get details on their project. Then schedule a free estimate and view the project in person. After viewing the project I submit a bid form to the client. If hired the Client will sign a construction contract. Once the project is complete the Owner receives a warranty bond.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Associates in landscape architecture. 3 year mason apprenticeship. Worked 3yrs for Father in law's home improvement service. Experienced in new construction and remodeling services.
