Introduction: Adrienne is an experiential educator with over 10 years of experience teaching theory, flute, piano, and ear training. I enjoy seeing students progress and learn new skills. There is a certain pride and joy I take in sharing with them their sense of accomplishment, not only learning a new skill, but also finding a new way to express their individuality.

Very patient, warm, and naturally easy to work with. I'm an adult learner and so I have some muscle memory but it's hard to figure what I lost. She is not only patient but makes the lessons really fun and accessible.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We will, by phone or email, briefly discuss your background in music, if you've taken lessons previously, and what your goals are. If you need help in purchasing or renting an instrument, I'm happy to help at no additional charge before our first lesson.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I've taught folks of all ages and all different levels in their playing. Wherever you are in your journey, if it is learning a specific technical skill, or learning chord structures to better enjoy your favorite pop tunes, I'm glad to help.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

In additional private tutoring, I work with educational and concert series, Castle of our Skins where I am responsible for community outreach partnering and relationships. We will be adding an educational seminar this year, 2016, that I've spent the past 3 months designing. I'm very excited to start offering this as part of the series
