FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
RedCave Media’s first priority is to design packages to serve the specific needs of our clients. We realize that each artist and group is unique and may have some tasks they need help with more than others. In our opinion it is impossible to put a price on many of the services we offer due to the unique characteristics of each artist, their career level and the volume of assistance they need. We also seriously consider the artist’s financial situation and will create the best package at the best price before giving them something they do not really need.We prefer standard pricing when performing basis freelance services, such as demo production, engineering and content creation for web sites or promotional materials. Please refer to our "Pricing" page on the RedCave Media website for more details.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Uncle Brown Sound always schedules a 1-2 hour introductory meeting where we invite our clients to the studio office to discuss their goals, expectations, and dreams regarding their music/media project. Based on what is gleaned from the first meeting, we then design a custom project proposal to fit that client - realizing that all clients are different. We like to learn about our clients first because we believe a project is not only about the work - it is also about how good the relationship is between the client and the studio. Our ultimate goal is to make the client feel comfortable and relaxed in a creative environment. We work hard to make that happen.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Uncle Brown's Sound (Red Cave Media) is a dynamic new Publicity, Production and Artist Development firm that contains over 25 years of music industry experience between its four walls. Our experience touches every aspect of the the music industry – we have done it all and have been in every situation that a young artist could imagine. Our group have worked as performers, touring musicians, session players, producers, engineers, major label scouts, A&R representatives, artist developers and music journalists. We feel our combined knowledge and experience makes us the perfect mentors for your career. We are honest, compassionate and caring and are truly interested in helping you…not using you. Most importantly, we are interested in working with artists that have real potential and have a desire to work to succeed. We evaluate each client, audition your skills and talents, and will honestly communicate if we think you have what it takes to progress in the industry. We are not in the “molding” business – meaning, we are not looking for artists to change and make something that they are not. Beyond anything we try to do, we wish to mentor and teach with the tools that we have been given.
