Athena is a brilliant and enlightened individual who brings keen insight to her coaching. She creates a trusting environment and has contributed to my moving forward.Feb 2, 2017
I went to Athena for acupuncture when I was dealing with some very stressful times in my life which brought unexpected weight gain. I didn't know what to expect going into it but what I got blew my mind. Not only was she able to help me physically by creating a healthier path for me but she also helped ease my anxiety. Athena was life changing for me and I don't say that lightly. Anyone who is lucky enough to work with her will experience the incredible love, light, and energy that she brings! I live in New York now but make sure to meet with her whenever I am back in Boston. No one else compares.Feb 1, 2017
Athena is first and foremost a wonderful person. While interacting with Athena I always feel welcomed, warm and open to share anything that is going on in my life. I never experience judgment . She is perceptive and listens deeply to help me move to a solution for what I am looking for and what is important to me. Most importantly I trust Athena and who she is as a person and coach!Jul 12, 2016
Athena has a rare gift to see a person for their true self. Her compassion, her commitment to others and her vulnerability to continue her own growth make her a genuine and gifted coach to others. She is a true blessing!Jul 12, 2016
Athena is deeply invested in healing her patients, knowing that the mental and emotional components of health are crucial to the physical ones. She has treated me for various muscular pains/conditions, and each time she does, I feel better - and it lasts. She is a healer, make no mistake.Jul 9, 2016

Payment methods accepted
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My rate is $125 an hour. I do have 3- or 6-month programs with payment plans available.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I schedule a 30-45 minute call so we can figure out if we're a good fit, and that call is free. The first coaching session, we meet in person - and that can be at a cafe, their home, a beach, the woods, etc. Then depending on the client's preferences and level of motivation, we can switch to phone sessions after that.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I did five years of Masters training in Chinese medicine (Chinese acupuncture, Japanese acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine) at the New England School of Acupuncture. That's where I laid my foundation for being a healer who goes beyond the superficial symptoms or circumstances, and digs deep into why imbalance or getting stuck is happening, what there is to learn from it, and how to engage in transforming it. I have also studied Buddhism, esoteric spirituality and Landmark Education extensively - all of which are really powerful and wise in training us to shift anything in our lives that isn't working or that we want to take to the next level. I also used to do a lot of work in non-profit social justice and journalism; both avenues made me really good at asking questions that empower and reveal, so people can discover things that haven't been clear to them before.
