Hiring Elemental Catering was, hands down, the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. We were working on a tight budget for our wedding and had a large enough guest count that required us to hire a caterer. As we didn't know anyone who had used Elemental Catering before, we were on the fence about whether to hire them, so we asked if we could do a tasting with them. This allowed us to meet the incredible duo, Larry and Karen, and taste some of their wonderful dishes--some of which made it onto our menu. Throughout the wedding planning, they were thoughtful in their approach and kept our budget in mind, offering us more affordable, beautiful and tastier options along the way. They added their input where needed but gave us the space to make the decision and supported us every step of the way. Weddings aren't often known for having great food, but every one of the guests we've talked to have commented on how amazing the food was. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?All events are different and we are here to customize all the specific preferences a client may have. We are also not confided to the menu that we send out as a sample. Our extensive Michelin Star restaurant experience allows us to be flexible and open minded about creating an individualized menu for each client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Both my partner and I are French Culinary Institute graduates and have a combines 15 year experience in Michelin Star restaurants.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have always been attracted to food as a foodie and have taken numerous culinary trip to countries like Japan and Thailand. It was only a matter of time before passion turned into profession.
