Damon was very professional, polite, knows his work and did a fabulous job!May 10, 2018Verified
He was promt, courteous, clearly knew his job and worked hard, I did not give him a 5 star rating only because I had to oversee some esthetic decisions in regards to clearing and pruning.Jul 28, 2016VerifiedLESJACK LANDSCAPES LLC's reply
As a courtesy I've learned in the past few decades, it's preferable to communicate about certain decisions to make sure we are in agreement. Specifically, before pruning large plants its often best to ask questions to find out unknowns and aesthetic preferences, suchas if a certain branch was preferred to be left in place to block the view of the neighbors, or whatever the case may be. Measure twice, cut once. Once it's cut it can't go back on.
Was extremely knowledgeable, replaced and installed a broken timer for our sprinkler system in the quickest turnaround and also advised us on our landscaping options which our previous irrigation company never did because they only sent their servicemen to switch on and switch off. Damon is very hands on and I would definitely recommend him to anyone.May 12, 2017Verified
We were very pleased with Damon's work. He was prompt for our appointment, knowledgeable about irrigation and reasonably priced! It would be a pleasure to work with him again in the future.May 1, 2017Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to have a conversation to get the full picture. Thumbtack is pretty good, but they don't ask all the questions I would ask, there are usually a few details I need to know before we can proceed. When we agree on what needs doing and the price, payment is due when the work is complete, unless there are materials to purchase for which I require prepayment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?In addition to my Masters Degree in Agriculture, I've been landscaping most of my life in many of these United States.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Playing in the muddy grass with the hose while my dad planted tomatoes in the 70s. I watched them grow red ornaments I could eat and other was hooked!
