Andrew was my housemate when we were both studying at Berklee College of Music. At that time I was very new to Jazz. As a violinist I struggled on where to start on learning. Andrew really helped and motivated me to practice. He was enthusiastic to teach me and you can clearly tell how passionate he is in music and in teaching people what he knows.

Andrew was very attentive to what I wanted in regards of getting a certain organic jazz vocabulary from the guitar. He answered my questions really well by breaking down information to an easy-to-digest level, and that same information/direction that he gave me naturally stuck with me.
Overall, Andrew's a great teacher and I'm sure that anyone willing to reach out to him for a lesson will get more than what they would expect.
