Make sure you use a technition that knows how to fix things withought breaking other things. Had springs replaced. He broke the cable pully and attachments after the repair and made sure he added the cost to my bill. Not good business practice.Feb 15, 2018VerifiedDiscount Garage D.'s reply
We're sorry to hear your dissatisfaction. For your particular situatin, the springs were replaced and the technician left a recommendation that you replace the cables and pulleys. His recommendations were declined. 2 weeks later, your cable then broke. When you called to complain, we advised we could send a technician out right away but reminded you that per his last visit he recommended those repairs so there would likely be additional charges. You felt those parts should be replaced for free. Unfortunately, that's now how it works. We always stand by our product. We don't ever warranty product we didn't install.
The new door is on order and if the work quality of that, in a few weeks, is like the initial contact, it will be great. Adam who came out was professional, pleasant, timely and he knows his stuff.Feb 6, 2018VerifiedDiscount Garage D.'s reply

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Our typical process is to send a technician to our customer's home at no charge to provide a free written estimate on the cost of repairs. If the customer chooses to get the repair work done, our techs have fully stocked trucks and are able to provide the repairs immediately, often getting a customer's door working within the hour.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?All of our technicians are factory trained and certified in addition to continued on the job training. We pride ourselves on having the most well trained staff in the industry which allows us to fix the majority of repairs on the spot without having to inconvenience our customers by making them wait until later to have a working door.
