Rob and Matt did excellent work. Rob is a master carpenter who designed and built a bookcase extension for our kitchen. It looks like it is an original part of the cabinetry. Rob was professional and responded quickly to my enquiry. He came out to the house and measured up, gave a very fair quote and said he’d return in a week to install the bookcase and install the hardware on all the other cabinets. He and Matt arrived at 11AM exactly a week later and in two hours had completed the work. He was punctual, professional and very personable. If you need cabinet work, I urge you to go to Rob. I know he will be my go-to carpenter in the future. There may be some as good, but there is nobody better. Also, Rob cleaned up before he left. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you Rob and Matt for jobs well done!

I expected great work from a cabinet maker whose father was a cabinetmaker, and I was not disappointed. Rob did a fantastic job refinishing my kitchen cabinets and then I hired him AGAIN to refinish my bathroom cabinets. I plan to hire him to build new custom cabinets for my new home.

Richard came over New years Day. He gave us a bid and a 3 week delivery date, at the latest. We paid him half the bid. We did not hear from him for those 3 weeks. I messaged through Thumbtack, and he said it would be the following week, as the doors weren't done yet. That week went by, and nothing. I messaged 3 times through TT and got no response. Finally, through texts, I got an answer that he was out and needed to text me back. Agreed to do it the next morning at 9 am. My partner texted and got no response either. Nothing. Started credit card dispute. Then, the week later, I get a message to my partner that he will install Thursday. I asked for pictures, which he sent later that evening. He stated he would be here Thursday by 10 to install. He arrived at 10:30. Cabinets are nice. Close in color to what we had already that he was "matching." This was 7 weeks after we gave him the down payment. Cabinets are nice. But he has no communication. And his time frame was more than double. Very nonchalant attitude. Barely said he was sorry, and when I asked about a discount, the attitude was very dismissal.

I really like Rob and have put off writing a review for over 1.5 years because I trusted his word that he would correct the stain and wood grain imperfections on the custom desk he built for me. But he never has, nor does he ever respond to my repeated attempts to contact him. He just doesn’t respond. It’s been 1 year and 6 months and he has never corrected the issue. He was here 6 months ago and acted like he was going to fix it but then again, I’ve never heard from him since then. I do think overall he does great work and have considered hiring him again but it his lack of follow up and follow through that is completely unprofessional and disrespectful. This was an ongoing issue during the entire process.

I offer a high quality product with fair pricing. Blum is my hardware of choice....very high quality drawer glides and hinges, both with soft close features.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we connect, I like to set up a free in home appointment to discuss the project and take measurements. At this point I will be able to give you an exact quote and timeframe.

I have 35 years of experience in my selected skillsets.
