- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?No, I do not have a standard pricing model, but I am often asked to handle a transactional matter that takes less than two hours. My clients are happily surprised how often they can do a deal that involves less than $1,000 in legal fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Many of my clients prefer to work over the phone and via email. New matters are mostly word of mouth referrals, so my new clients usually know they want to hire my firm before they call. If an in person meeting can or should be arranged, we make an appointment, otherwise after an initial consultation, my clients sign a retainer and send the retainer fee and we get to work right away. While I do enjoy meeting with my clients in person, the pace of business, litigation and immigration is fast, so the majority of work is handled via phone and internet.
