Introduction: I teach Kundalini yoga which can be done at all fitness levels and ages. It is called the yoga of awareness because it connects you to your true self, bringing together body, mind and spirit for self-healing and basic wellness. In the practice of Kundalini yoga meditation is not separate from the asanas (yoga positions) but a fundamental part of the whole experience where the exercises bring the body and the mind into a state where deep meditation is automatic for total Mind-Body integration. I am always amazed and humbled when I see a student experience a shift in their mind-body awareness that will bring them closer to their true self where they can grow their happiness.

I'm a disable vet and Ravi has taught with empathy and patience for my physical limitations. She has worked with surprising success on my various joint issues and I have significantly less pain now than I did two years ago when I started taking classes with her.

Ravi is awesome! I have taken several classes from her and I think if I can just keep taking them I can get really good at yoga. Sometimes you find someone who is just really strong at yoga, and Ravi is one of those people. She has stamina, technique, flexibility, enthusiasm - the whole package. Just sitting across from her in class, her strength seems to somehow transmit across the room. She makes it easy!

    I am a Yoga Alliance 200RTY certified yoga instructor, I am certified by the Kundalini Research Institute to teach Kundalini Yoga, I am certified by Teeny Yogini to tech children's yoga.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    After a self practice of 6 years I had made so many positive changes in my life I decided I wanted to help others achieve their goals.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I have worked with students of all ages, physical abilities, and levels of yoga experience. I am able to modify yoga exercises to any age, fitness level or physical condition. I have worked with people on improving physical problems such as acute or chronic pain, improving posture, increasing aerobic lung capacity, physical stamina among other things. I've also helped people with emotional and psychological trauma through teaching meditation and self care.
