Our previous tile person had personal issues, leaving us hanging and needing someone to come in immediately to do the job. Andy showed up and did the job. It took longer than expected, four days instead of two. At the entrances to both bedrooms, there is a dip where he didn't get enough thinset underneath to level the new tile with the existing. He was grinding the thinset out of the grout line, so the grout could go between the tiles. However, he didn't get all the areas down enough and the thinset is showing thru the grout in a couple places. We did not call him back to fix these issues because of the time frame we were in to get our bedrooms back. Overall the tile looks great, he showed up, he worked and the job was done. So above average good rating.

Andy at Paterson Restoration is your construction and renovation man. He is detail oriented. He used to work at Home Depot and has a lot of connections. Our shower door and dishwasher broke. Andy hooked us up from start to finish. I retired from the Genesee County Sheriff's Dept. I was a little hesitant to use Thumbtack at first If you have any restoration or repair work call Andy. He is TRUSTWORTHY..RELIABLE..and his work is METICULOUS. You will be amazed at his work and reasonable price. Patterson Restoration deserves an A+

Andrew and his crew do a great job. For one, they are understanding with a client’s schedule and they were able to move things around in order to accommodate me. They were able to install drywall in a timely manner and they were punctual by arriving on time everyday. I would definitely recommend Andrew’s services!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started doing handyman work and general contracting with a friend as a second job, and found that I really enjoyed the work and had a talent for it.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently I cased out interior doors and windows for a friend, we did all of them in a farmhouse style, completely custom. The job took two days, and turned out beautifully.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise customers to get multiple quotes and meet a couple different contractors in person, and don't always go with the cheapest, if the cheapest is considerably less than the others. In the end, I would recommend hiring whom ever you're most comfortable with
