- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After first contact, I will discuss with the customer what they are looking for in a garage door and/or opener. Is it a look you are after? Is it security? Or is it just an inexpensive quality set up that will do the trick? Most of the time between the internet, the home owner, and a tape measure I can give you a competitive bid over the phone. If you want to see all the products I also have a showroom. Once a product and a price is agreed apon the install will take place two to three weeks later. The simpler the install such as an operator it can happen in a few days. After completion and payment all is left to do is enjoy your purchase and tell all your friends about us.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
21 years in the business has afforded me a wealth of knowledge in the industry. We are a Four Star CHI Dealer, been an Authorized Liftmaster Dealer for 9 years, an IDA member which dictates strict business practices in the industry. They also sponsor an annual convention that we attend. We are an Authorized installing dealer for Clopay as well. To be able to maintained the previous dealerships, one must have their insurance and licenses. The annual convention offers a weeks worth of classes about the industry.
