My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Joe. He was punctual, or would let us know if he was running late, polite, and very professional. He had to spend extra time and effort to create a smooth transition between the new hardwood and an inlay that was not the same height. It felt good to know that his many years of experience enabled him to do that. We have a couple of thresholds we'll ask Joe to do when we can afford it. We would not hesitate to hire him again.

I reached out through Thumbtack for the first time to have repairs done on my deck. I contacted three different contractors. Joe was one of the first to respond to my query. After each had come and evaluated the project, we went with Joe. He took his time with the assessment, measured carefully, and even had some ideas about cost/time saving that made perfect sense. While the others were fine and would do the repairs, they weren't interested in staining the repaired areas to complete the job. We wanted one contractor for the entire project. That was Joe! Though weather wasn't his friend that week, he persevered and completed the job in record time. The quality of his work is exceptional. I would absolutely recommend him and am actually eyeing my home for other projects. Added bonus, he's personable and very responsive to text messages. I work full time and often couldn't be here for in-person conversations.
