Lindsey was awesome to work with. We knew we didn't want all of the traditional and formal wedding photos that typically come in wedding photography packages. Lindsey was very flexible and accommodating to our very casual wedding. She took beautiful beach photos of us and great candid shots of our after party. If you are looking for photos that will not be cookie cutter- I would recommend Lindsey!

We strongly believe that your wedding should be as unique as your relationship. We wanted our day to feel precisely that, a day that clearly represented us - The groom was American; the bride was British. We met through Instagram because of the bride’s love of vintage 1950s dresses, and the groom’s love of her in them. We opted to elope and we agreed on two non-negotiable things, that we wanted to elope in Salem, MA where the groom was originally from, and that we would need to have the perfect photographer to capture our day. Enter Lindsey. Looking at her website, through multiple galleries and blogs we knew she would fit our vibe. That was confirmed all around after our first video call. Lindsey was warm, friendly, made us feel comfortable to just be our silly selves, as well as understanding that we wanted something a little different and she was eager to get involved. We had a couple of video calls to run through thoughts and ideas, but generally we knew we could trust Lindsey to guide us through the day. Lindsey followed us the entire day, no matter where we wanted to go. She was a fly on the wall, as we spent the day lost in each other. She even caught moments when neither of us thought she was even taking photographs. And the photos, the hundreds of them, all turned out beautifully! Lindsey has an amazing eye, as well as the determination, to capture those truly special moments that you want captured. We started our adventure together at the Jolie Tea Company, having high tea. The bride was British, and we wanted this day to incorporate the two of us, joining together in what we jokingly like to call The Revolutionary War: Part 2. We exchanged vows at The House of the Seven Gables. Lindsey captured it all for us, our more casual outing, getting ready for the ceremony, our first look, the different locations, all the beautiful scenery, the bride’s multiple dress changes, even that bloody ocean that kept us apart for so long. But most importantly … she captured our love. A talented photographer makes all the difference in the world. Lindsey offers more than being ‘just’ your photographer. Idea machine, general planner, hype person and friend. We will forever be grateful to her for her dedication in capturing the spirit of who we are and what we were trying to do. Anyone would be lucky to have Lindsey documenting their wedding.

We are amazed looking at the pictures Lindsey clicked of us. She was very polite, helpful throughout the session. She was always on her toes to capture the best of us right from the beginning. Now that we see the photo gallery, it feels like she read our minds and reflected the same through her lens. We would love to refer her to our friends and family for their special moments in and around Boston area.

Lindsey photographed our weekday micro-wedding/elopement at the Boston Public Library, and we're so happy with how the photos turned out. Working with her was a dream! From the initial consultation all the way through to the delivery of the online photo album, Lindsey was attentive and thoughtful. I like that she got to know us and our story. As an LGBT couple, it was important for my husband and I to find an inclusive photographer, and Lindsey made us feel so comfortable.

When we first talked about getting married, I was committed to the idea of a city hall wedding. I Googled “Boston elopement photographers” and fell in love with Lindsey’s style months before we even got engaged. We eventually ditched our city hall plans for a small(ish) wedding of ~80 people at a restaurant in Cambridge but knew that we still wanted to work with Lindsey. After our intro Zoom call, she was the first vendor we booked even as we were still ironing out our exact date and location! We included a couples/engagement shoot in our wedding package, and I’m so glad we did – having the opportunity to shoot with her ahead of our wedding day put us totally at ease. I know that everyone thinks that they’re awkward in photos, but we’re not a very romantic, affectionate, or “touchy feely” couple and I was worried about how that would work for wedding-related pictures. Lindsey found a way to keep us laughing (mostly at ourselves lol) during our entire shoot and the photos she took are a perfect reflection of us – we’re not very romantic, but we have so much fun together. On our wedding day, Lindsey and her second shooter Brian were an absolute dream to work with. From the moment they arrived, they made everyone feel comfortable and Lindsey took over running the day and keeping us on time. The locations she scouted for our couples’ photos were STUNNING and it looked like we ventured all over the city when in reality we only traveled a few blocks – her eye for architecture makes her the perfect photographer for city weddings. Every part of the day was seamless – due in large part to Lindsey and Brian. They understood the shots that were important to us, stepped back when picture fatigue was setting in, captured our beloved pup from every possible angle during the ceremony, kept us (and our families) laughing all day, and got down on the dance floor while still taking pics! So many of our guests commented on how awesome they were that night, and our nieces (ages 10, 9, and 7) still talk about how much fun they had with them. We loved working with Lindsey and cannot recommend her enough. I keep describing our wedding as pure magic, and Lindsey’s ability to capture the magic and the emotion of the day was beyond our wildest dreams.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Let’s chat on the phone (or grab a coffee, if you’re close enough)! I want to understand your needs to figure out how I can best help you. Once we decide we are well matched, we’ll get started on planning.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Formally, I have three entirely irrelevant degrees in neuroscience, psychology, and cell biology. I used to work in neuroscience research at MIT before I quit to do photography full time. Informally, I’ve been shooting photos and video since I was 15 (now 25) and went full time on photography in 2017.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask how they prepare for the shoot. Hire someone who takes time to plan prior to you arriving on-site.
