FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a customer first inquires about my services I respond with an e-mail, text or phone call where I discuss my prices, my availability and the type of move job requested. If the customer wants to proceed and use my services then we schedule a date and time. I like to do a follow-up with the customer usually a few days before just confirming the move job, the time and if there are any changes. After the job is completed I kindly ask the customer for a review based on my performance.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As I stated before I’m a full-time firefighter so I’m constantly lifting and moving heavy objects. I’ve also been doing move jobs for over 5 years now. I started off working for another company and then finally decided to start my own so I’ve enhanced my skills and increased my knowledge about the moving industry over the years from the more move jobs I complete.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My schedule allows me to be able to work on the side so not only do I get to help others as a full-time firefighter, but I figured why not help others on the side as well. Seeing I had a truck I thought what better way to utilize it then by helping others with moving jobs. As a bonus, it’s a great workout!
