I have been doing training with Kirk for several years now. First of all, Kirk comes to my house which is invaluable to me. He is always on time. I work out under his guidance 2 times per week. He comes in with training plans, always changing the workouts to meet my needs and keep it interesting. He corrects my posture, placement and execution which is also invaluable to me. He is very polite and always asks how my body is feeling prior to beginning the workout and, if necessary, tailors the workout accordingly. He is very experienced, knows the body thoroughly and is well organized. He has worked with me to get back to health after two illnesses in the past year. He is extremely patient and understanding. He works wth my best interests at heart, not his own agenda. I feel honored to be his client. Mary

I have been working out with Kirk for over 10 years. At first my drive was to get back in shape. About 8 years ago I had back surgery. My back is doing well but the surgery caused nerve damage in my legs and feet. I lost the ability to walk. With the help of a physical therapist and Kirk within 4 months I was back walking. I still have some issues with my stability because of the lack of nerve sensations in my lower legs and feet. Kirk has continued to work with me not only on my general strength but also with specialized exercises to help my stability. He has shown a lot of patience and has designs a lot of exercises specially for me. I will be 70 years old in a few month and my conditioning has allowed me to continue to work, every thought my job requires me to be on my feet for 9 to 10 hours a day. With hard work on my part and Kirk's guidance I'm able to continue working at a job I still enjoy. Rick

I have trained with Kirk for more than 10 years and it has been an outstanding experience in every way. Kirk is extremely knowledgeable and highly skilled and, even more than that, he is a terrific person -- decent, motivating, respectful, and truly caring about me as an individual, my needs, my goals. In the process, he has become a friend I can trust to do what's best for me. When he asks me at the start of every session "How does everything feel today," it's not an idle question. He wants to know, and he customizes every workout based on my answer. He's a true professional. He knows his business. He's always on top of training methods and on top of his game. Over time, I've been impressed with how he constantly changes and adapts my training regimen to keep it interesting and, most importantly, safe and productive -- taking into into consideration my age, my capability, and my potential. His low key, very positive approach keeps me highly motivated but never intimidated. His praise for my work ethic and accomplishments is key to my persistence and my progress. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I was in the process of getting into good physical condition following a heart attack and bypass surgery of several years prior. My goals were to get into good general condition, and given my age at the time, to work on flexibility and balance as well. Kirk did an outstanding job. Once my goals were satisfied and my knowledge about staying in shape enhanced, Kirk was and continues to be available for consultations.

Kirk, aware of particular issues I had, i.e., diabetes, shoulder cuff and knee problems, devised an exercise routine to accommodate those issues, and he rotated a variety of routines in order that there was no boredom level. I felt he took a personal interest in my attaining a level of health. If I was still in the area, I would still be under his guidance.
