FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First of all, I like to get to know them a little bit and hear their plans for the project at hand. Then, I walk the area with the customer and ask questions about what the job will require (i.e. areas to be painted, color, paint sheen, specific requests, ect.) and listen to what they have to say in response. After I am awarded the job and start working, I strive to maintain open communication with the customer throughout the process..
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A Bachelor's degree in business, two years as the assistant manager of a Sherwin-Williams store (during which I was thoroughly trained in various types of coatings and provided technical advice to painting professionals) and five years experience working for my dad's painting company.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started by working for my dad's company and then went to college. I wanted to start my own business but wasn't sure in what industry. After being around paint and painters during my post-college job at Sherwin-Williams, I decided that I wanted to start a painting company.
