Southern Illinois is such a beautiful area for outdoor weddings, but I know from my own experience that sometimes it can be difficult to arrange for a wedding officiant when the ceremony is not performed in a church. I am ready to perform an elegant, professional ceremony that you will remember forever.
I will consult with you over the phone about your wishes for the ceremony (and sermon/commentary if desired), and email you a draft of the script for your review and approval. I can also attend your rehearsal dinner to meet you and and the wedding party, practice, and confirm the final details. On the day of your service, I will arrive at least 30 minutes early for a final check-in before the ceremony to ensure everything goes smoothly. I will also take care of filing the paperwork for you afterwards so that you can focus on celebrating your love!
All of my quotes include your ceremony and related travel expenses, preparation of a custom ceremony script, and the rehearsal (if you indicated that you would like me there). If you plan to provide the script yourself, deduct $50 from the total. Schedule early, as weekend dates can fill up fast, especially as the weather gets warmer!
My service area includes all areas between Carbondale and Cairo, Metropolis, Harrisburg, Mt. Vernon, Centralia, Sparta, Chester, Paducah, and Cape Girardeau. For ceremonies outside that area, please contact me and we may be able to arrange something. I am ordained and recognized by the state of Illinois to perform marriage ceremonies. Credentials available upon request.
It takes a lot of work behind the scenes to make an event as complex as a wedding go off without a hitch, but watching the bride and groom celebrate their special day makes it all worth it!
