About this pro
Thank you so much Larry for helping through the process of getting my flowers done for my wedding next month! You are by far the most attentive person; always listening to what I want. I cannot wait for my big day and to see how beautiful everything will turn out because of you!May 18, 2018VerifiedLarry S.'s reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Rates are based on the number of items ordered, the types of flowers and foliage used and the size of bouquets, centerpieces or arrangements. To get specifics, email Larry at events by larry @yahoo.com and request his comprehensive price list. But, the best way is to email him with your exact or proposed flower needs, and he will send you a custom quote based on the detailed information you have given. He needs to know (for a wedding for instance) : the number of bridesmaids and the number of groomsmen, or however you are naming and assigning the attendants to the bridal couple. Then he needs to know if you need boutonnieres for Dads and corsages for Moms and how many for each. The number of centerpieces (estimate is okay at first) needed.... Is it an outdoor ceremony/ And outdoor or indoor reception The location of the event , the date and time... Will you have an arch that needs flowers or a gazebo? Will you need urns with flowers on pedestals at altar area? Will you need floral aisle ,markers at an outdoor wedding or pew markers at an indoor wedding? Cake flowers? Buffet table flowers? Sweetheart Table? Sign in table flowers? Flowers for flower girl and ring bearer? Flowers lining each side of the aisle at an outdoor ceremony? All these things are most important to know in order to give you a realistic price quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A free in person consultation is the first step, where photos of my work and a discussion of the many options open to them takes place. I also concentrate on listening to the client so I get a full picture of what their vision is.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have trained with Floral Design Institute of Portland and also with Penn Foster School of Design as well as on the job internships. I am also a wedding planner since 2000, and a certified, experienced Wedding Officiant (ordained for life with Universal Life Church).
