Shea Thompson

Introduction: Shea Thompson is a brilliant recording/mixing engineer and has been dubbed the "Wizard"; he brings a wide range of skills to any project he works on. Shea works as both an experienced engineer and producer who works from a number of San Diego based recording studios. He specializes in songwriting, artist development, recording, mixing and mastering (and can even play guitar, keys, bass, drums or even backup vocals on your project). Shea's past experience includes in studio work at Sonic Rocket Productions, Spooky Cat Studios, Pinstripe Studios, Soapbox Multimedia, and CNR (Center for Neuroacoustic Research). Having partnered with Sonic Rocket as Studio Manager for two years, he took the studio from nothing to the 5 star rated studio it is today. He is a gifted sound engineer and an experienced computer technician, also proficient in artwork design for music albums, live sound work, and artist management. Shea's background includes an Associates Degree & Certificate of Achievement in Recording Arts from Mira Costa College, and over 8+ years of in-field experience.
