FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing system consists of bidding a job by the square footage. Pricing by the hour is not economical and is unrealistic if one wants the customer to be satisfied. The years have taught me to understand the tasks at hand, and average out the time it takes to do certain things. IE, clean a bathroom, bedroom, clean an oven and clean windows. The size of a business or resident is a huge factor in determining how much time will be spent doing certain tasks.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for a new customer is to acquire a good overview of their needs and expectations, share my level of experience, methodology and availability. I prefer to conduct a site visit to see what I am facing. However this is sometimes unrealistic given time lines. Next I share my qualifications, products and process to include how I come up with a bid. Lastly, I find it helpful to provide references, listen to their needs, be honest and develop a solid working relationship.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
When I worked for the federal government I was known for getting the job done right the first time. During this period of time I had lots of different training classes. For example, HazMat classes, how to compile data, conduct meetings with different socioeconomic groups and enhance my computer skills. My experience and college degree from U.C. Davis honed my discipline into a well polished ability to accomplish my goals.
