Introduction: Unlike many event planners, each consultation after our first meeting is included in the full package of services which are provided as an option for our clients. As an event planner, I incorporate my artistic eye and create unique decorating ideas to provide an atmosphere customized and unique for my clients. I thoroughly enjoy applying my passion of bringing people together for some of life's most significant moments as well as getting to know my clients personally and assist them in creating new memories!

Heather was hired as our Wedding Planner. She did an excellent job at making phone calls in regards to the catering, Officient, and Hall. She kept me calm throughout the whole process..She also helped with photography, setting up decorations, creating a color scheme for the entire wedding and being a very good friend.

Heather and I were in frequent contact for nine months planning my wedding. That assistance was helpful and advanced the vision for our big day. The reason the rating is so low is because Heather called the morning of the wedding that she was supposed to be decorating and coordinating entirely to say she would not be there because of a sprained ankle. She said she would provide competent replacements, which despite the assistant's best effort, was not the case. The result: Several members of my friends and family ended up having to set up everything for the ceremony and reception. Then all of my guests had to tear down everything for the wedding. Nothing like putting your guests to work. I believe Heather is well intentioned but she left us in a lurch at our most vulnerable moment and for that I cannot recommend her.

I am sorry that you are not satisfied with the service that was given. I know that the phone call was stressful and caught you by surprise. However, my staff is competent and I believe that they did do a good job but I take your comments to improve training and preparation of coordination. My ankle was not sprained , it was swollen, purple and I could not walk from working on your wedding preparations all night as a long lasting effect from my previous surgery. Your guests were not to help and were not asked to do so. I understand that they may have felt obligated to, which should never have happened. Your guests and wedding party were not needed to prepare. I noted your feedback and will apply it to improving the training and preparation for future weddings.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associate of Science degree in Business Management, Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrated Marketing Communications which includes extensive coursework in event planning at Duquesne University
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I planned various events in college such as fundraisers and activity programs. I also planned bridal showers, birthday parties and weddings for friends and fell in love with the industry.
