My wife and I have had Ray do a number of jobs for us over the years, from major carpentry, roof repair, to interior fix-up and even painting. He's installed windows and doorframes for us, face-lifted our entire bathroom, and replaced ceiling tiles. The biggest jobs he's done fore us involved installing not only our automatic garage door but also a humongous barn door, the heavy original of which was threatening to topple off its runners and come crashing down on some poor soul (that very likely would've been yours truly). It was quite a job and Ray did it single-handedly and with professionalism. With every job he provided estimates, and gave us options on whether we might want to go with more expensive materials and procedures or consider some cost-cutting measures and explained what the implications of those would be. He's always been very fair. I highly recommend his work ethic and his results. My only complaint about him is that he left the State of Maine (but that's turned out OK really-- I've since sold that big old house he worked on for us, and moved into an apartment). :-)

After a burst pipe ruined floors, walls and ceilings in our house Creative Carpentry made the repairs we needed, put down new floors and painted. Ray did a great job, on schedule and on budget. Creative Carpentry also put a new roof on our warehouse. Again on schedule and on budget. I would highly recommend.

Ray was the General Contractor for a kitchen remodel job this summer. It well and within budget. Ray is well versed in carpentry, plumbing and electrical.

I was extremely pleased with the work Ray performed in my home. He has done several jobs which were completed in a timely fashion and more importantly exceptionally done. Some of the work he performed included replacement of kitchen cabinets and countertops, tiling the bathroom shower, painting, etc. It is obvious that this man takes pride in his work. All pricing is base on the project and can be completed in a Time and Materials or Fixed Price bid.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first meet with all my customers to introduce myself and explain what services I can provide them with. Discuss in detail the work they are interested in having me do so that I have a detailed understanding of what they are expecting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 20 years of OJT carpentry in both the commercial and residential areas.
