Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I started my career in Music nearly 10 years ago. You might already know me as the voice (and composer) of the Volt Doctors jingle on the radio and television. My main background is in writing music for marketing and advertising, but I have a strong passion for teaching. I hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Commercial Music. I have taught private lessons as well as collegiate courses in music for film, beginning guitar, and music production/songwriting. In addition to writing and producing music for a living, I am also a very experienced saxophonist and guitarist. I am happy to teach students of all ages and performance levels. There really is nothing more inspiring than having that moment where something just “clicks” with a student. When somebody who didn’t know something, suddenly has a greater understanding of why or how that something works. It’s a series of these moments that I as a teacher strive for with each student I teach. My main job, writing music and producing audio for marketing and advertising is great, but I’ve had many great mentors throughout my career that have allowed me to grow into the professional I am today. I would love to be that same type mentor for you or someone you know.

Joe Basile was an assistant teacher in my 383 class at Western Carolina University, "Music and Audio in Media." I was a film student at the time with very little understand of music and audio especially in film industry. Now the two teachers, co-teaching the class, taught me a lot about sound but it was Joe with his one on one sessions with me and all the other students that help solidify the knowledge we were gaining. After college, I couldn't get a job in film but I was able to get a job as a sound engineer doing live concerts only because of my background with the 383 class and what Joe helped me learn in it. Now I work for Samaritan's Purse in their broadcast department doing audio and video for them. I love my job and how it helps people around the world. I say all this because if it wasn't for that class and Joe helping me on my projects after hours making sure I understand music, audio, and sound, I wouldn't be where I am today. Thank you, Joe Basile! Sincerely, TC

Such a phenomenal teacher. I walked into his class not knowing anything about the guitar. After a short time I could read tabs and knew enough basics to continue teaching myself.

Joe taught me weekly for a semester during college and it was an awesome experience. He’s got a lot of knowledge, and he’s a good teacher.

Joe Basile reflects professionalism and never backs down with his creative skills that set him apart. He works very well with students, taking them into an in-depth analysis of something if it isn't understood. Working with Basile is like sitting down with a friend, chatting about music and quickly understanding everything that's going on.

Joe is a very knowledgeable individual in the art of music production, sound synthesis, and audio engineering. I really enjoyed the lessons I took under him in the past.
