FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always ask about the students musical preferences and overall goals are for the instrument. This gives me a lot to work off of and gives a good direction as to how I would approach lessons. Whether you would like to play live with a band or play for yourself and some friends, lessons are optimized for you!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a guitar player for 15 years and have taken lessons for 7 of them. During this time, I gained experience in live playing, writing music, and have taken music theory courses from Syracuse University and Full Sail University.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was hired to teach guitar at a local music store and fell in love with teaching it. Students learn to love the instrument and eventually have it be a conduit for their own expression. Having them realize that potential has been the most rewarding aspect.
