FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I am a firm believer that you should have the rights to your images. I charge a $125 session fee at time of booking. This confirms a spot on my calendar. An additional $300 is due on the day of your session. This is for all 25-40 digital image available via download link. Additional print packages are available after the session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to get to know my clients. It is an important part of what I do. I will send a quote to a client to ensure they have looked at my pricing and are ready to move forward. Once they decide to book, I require a $125 booking/session fee. This is a non-refundable fee that is required to get on my calendar. Once this is paid, I send an questionnaire to the family to begin the process of getting to know them. I usually schedule a phone call with them once the questionnaire is complete. As we get closer to the session, I will send one more questionnaire to get more information about your family and your interests.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my undergraduate from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado. I used my degree to open a franchise with my husband called The Little Gym, specializing in motor skill development and gymnastics for 4 months to 12 years old. During this time I also received my masters in elementary education. I always had an interest in photography and took classes through my education. However, it wasn't until the birth of my first daughter that I decided to pursue it as a career. Photography is not just a passion, it is a part of how I live my life. I strive to capture the raw moments with children and their families. I want clients to remember how they felt in the moment as they look back on their pictures and enjoy the journey of parenthood.
