- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked my way up from the bottom in the plumbing industry, passed my plumbing exams, worked under the guidance of many plumbers with decades of experience. I have attended some college courses at North Central Michigan College, as well as Ivy Tech Institute. I am also a United States Navy veteran where I served aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt in both Iraq and Bosnia during the early 90's
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began my career in Northern Michigan as an apprentice plumber doing high end new construction in 1999. I worked full time for three years before passing my exam for Journeyman Plumber. I continued working full time as a crew lead on various new construction, and remodel projects for the next two years before passing my Master Plumbers exam. I moved to Colorado in May of 2009 where I began working full time in the plumbing service industry. Within a few years of moving to Colorado I became a full time single parent which limited my ability to work flexible hours at local service companies so began my own company where I have more flexibility to take care of the need of my children, yet still continue to work full time.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Over my many years doing new construction, and service plumbing I've worked with a wide range of customers, from landlord tenant projects, to mobile homes, to multi million dollar homes for Corporate CEO's
