FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am very fair and honest about not only pricing but the job from start to finish. When I go on an estimate, I have no issue letting the client know of any common mistakes people may make on their project, regardless of who is going to do it - I want it done the right way. I typically am willing to work with the client on pricing....if I can price the job to where we are both happy I will.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I of course meet with them and find out exactly what they are looking to have done. Answering the any questions they may have, help with color selections, different paint options, etc. Once we start the project, we create a work area (if possible), then we completely cover the work area and it stays covered for the duration of the job (unkess this creates an inconvenience for the client). I like a clean job from start to finish which includes our tools and work area.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Have worked on custom houses for a very long time. I learned the old fashioned way ...from the bottom up. Cleaning the job site, tools and working my way up to painting, running a job and crew for my older brother, and ultimately starting my own business in 2008. This experience has taken me from painting a residential home, to commercial projects and to restoring historical homes in the Palm Springs area.
