Working with illustrator/designer Ryan Huseman of Huseman Designs has been an absolute pleasure. Aside from his astounding skill and hard work, I also found his dedication, professionalism and communication with me remarkable. I came out with a far better product than I could have hoped for when looking for an illustrator for a children's book series I had written. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a three step process while working with a customer. They are Develop, Design and Deliver. Develop: We will begin the process to planning your design, objectives and business needs. If you are remote we can do this over the phone and if you are local we will meet face to face. Design: We will create your design initial layouts, color schemes, fonts and additional aspects to complete your vision. Deliver: During the end process I will make %100 you are completely satisfied and that you have the needed files for your project. These steps may vary depending on the needs of the customer but I believe these are the main building blocks to keep projects on time and successful.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ever since I can remember I have been drawn towards the arts and I have pursued to keep doing what makes me tick. I have a BFA in illustration from The American Academy of Art, and I have been certified in Graphic Technology from Purdue University. I have been freelancing since graduation and created Huseman Designs llc in 2013. I have worked with web design, digital and traditional illustration, vinyl graphics and creating graphics using raster and vector formats.
