Introduction: I have been training in and teaching martial arts for over 20 years. My martial arts lineage can be traced directly to the legendary Bruce Lee, who passed his art onto Guro Dan Inosanto, Bruce Lee’s protege. Guro Dan in turn taught Guro Harley Elmore Filipino Martial Arts, Maphilindo Silat, as well as Lee Jun Fan Gung Fu and Jeet Kune Do. I am a Full Instructor in Filipino Martial Arts, Jun Fan Gung Fu / Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai Kickboxing and Maphilindo Silat under Guro Harley Elmore, and I had the honor of serving as the lead instructor and staff manager at Harley Elmore’s prestigious Warriors Way Martial Arts Academy. I am also an instructor in both the Filipino Martial Arts and Jun Fan Gung Fu / Jeet Kune Do under Guro Dan Inosanto. In addition to the Inosanto linage of martial arts I have been training and teaching Sayoc Kali since 2009. Sayoc Kali is a highly evolved Filipino Martial Art created by Pamana Tuhon Chris Sayoc. The curriculum of Sayoc Kali focuses on the bladed aspects of the filipino martial arts, and uses multiple training methods unique to Sayoc Kali to develop a skilled practitioner. As an ever evolving system, Sayoc Kali takes the fighting arts of the ancient Philippines and brings them to the forefront of modern combat. I am the only instructor of Sayoc Kali located in the Austin area. I have many years of experience teaching an array of ages and skill levels from children and teens (6 - 16), adults, law enforcement and military personnel (including members of elite police units, S.W.A.T. and Military Special Operations). I have spent many years pursuing the knowledge and skill which are part of the never ending journey of martial arts. I truly enjoy sharing my passion for growth and skill with others!
